When you will hear from Cosmos automatically

The automated messages Cosmos sends, so they do not feel like noise.

Written by Rupert Searle

Cosmos reaches out, you do not have to remember

One of the reasons clients stay with Cosmos beyond formation is that we track deadlines so you do not have to. That tracking turns into messages that arrive before something is due, when something on your matter changes, or when an action is needed. This article explains what those automated messages are, so they do not feel like noise.

Reminders before deadlines

Your company carries deadlines: licence renewals, tax filings, visa renewals, and similar. Well before each one, you will receive a reminder telling you what is due, what is needed from you, and by when. We err on the side of early warning, so a deadline never lands as a surprise. See Staying compliant after setup for the kinds of deadlines we track.

Updates when something moves

When a step on your matter moves forward, you will hear from us. That includes a formation reaching a new stage, an application receiving approval, or a document becoming ready for your signature. The aim is that you always know roughly where things stand without having to ask.

Billing notifications

You will receive a receipt for each payment, and reminders before any recurring fee is due. Billing emails come from our payment provider, Stripe, on behalf of Cosmos. Your full billing history is available in your account.

Action needed

Where something genuinely needs you, signing a document, providing a missing piece of information, approving the next step, you will be told plainly. Action-needed messages are written to make it obvious what to do.

Occasional updates from Cosmos

From time to time we will send a service update, for example a meaningful change to how we work, a new service that affects you, or a regulatory change you should know about. These are kept rare on purpose. Marketing or promotional messages are kept separate from your service communications.

Preferences and unsubscribing

Service messages, those related to your matter, your account or your billing, are part of the engagement and cannot be turned off. Marketing and general updates are optional and can be turned off at any time.
